With 4 super names in the food scene just hot off the press, the 2023 Food Fight is sure to once again be a sell-out with tickets on sale now.

Each year two highly regarded chefs from outside the region take on two top names from the Hunter and provide their 350 strong dining audience with not only an incredible day of food and wine, but also the task of deciding the winning dish.

The two big names heading our way this year are Jason Dean – Head Chef O Bar & Dining and Sarah Knights former Head Chef Automata. Neither need much more of an introduction hailing from such great venues at the top of their game in Sydney’s highly acclaimed food scene.

In the red corner representing the Hunter region in this terrific cook off is Jake Deluca Head Chef at The Flotilla in Newcastle and Richmond Rodrigues Head Chef at Muse Kitchen in Pokolbin, both bearing Sydney Morning Herald chefs’ hats and known to be amongst the Hunter’s finest dining experiences.

It’s a fabulous event set down for Tuesday 27 June 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.

Following a sell out event of 350 people in 2022, tickets for this popular event go on sale this week. It’s a super event for our region and the hospitality industry at large, bringing camaraderie, talent and the industry together to assist us promote and nurture young and aspiring talent.
