Never tried life drawing beyond doodling on a takeaway menu, or been sketching for years and fancy practising on something a bit less wobbly than your last model? The Tipsy Sketching Club runs a laid back life drawing session at Earp Distilling Co. in Newcastle where you can sip, snack and sketch while trying to convince yourself that foreshortening was deliberate.

The session goes for about two hours with timed poses from two to thirty minutes and regular breaks for drinks, food, sharing and a bit of banter. Drawing materials can be supplied but bring your own if you prefer. All mediums and experience levels are welcome, from total beginners to people who have strong opinions about pencil grades.
