Ever thought about trying your hand at stand-up but not sure where to start? Look no further than our beginners/new material night at the Newcastle Comedy Club. It's the perfect chance to take the plunge and share those questionable jokes you've been keeping to yourself. Who knows, you might just discover that you're the next big thing—or at least, a big hit with your mates.

We hold these weekly open mics every Tuesday night, with the doors creaking open at 7:00pm just for you to slide in and get comfy before things kick off at 7:30. Plus, entry is free, which is a great deal unless you count all the laughs that are bound to happen. So grab your best punchlines and come give it a go—after all, what's the worst that could happen?
