On 18 February 2026, Newcastle Beach is hosting the Surfest Pro Junior right at the spot where Surfest was born. Its like a family reunion for waves, with all the original vibes still hanging around while the young guns take over.

Over 100 top junior surfers from across the Asia Pacific will be out there, probably wiping out as much as they carve, but thats half the fun of watching the next crop figure it out. Grab a spot on the sand if youre nearby.
